Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is an evidence-based nutrition intervention provided by a registered dietitian to prevent, manage, or treat specific medical conditions through individualized nutrition assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and monitoring.
MNT is not general nutrition education — it’s a clinical service recognized by most healthcare organizations as an essential component of comprehensive care.
